What we’re about
Do you want to get out of the house, try new things, and have a lot of fun meeting other active friends your age? Come join us around Columbus for casual, unique and exciting events at the coolest venues in town.
Here's what the group offers:
- Activity - Our goal is to host at least 8 events per month, adding more as we discover more interests. Most of our events allow casual conversation in a fun environment. Even activities with music, games, or sports have social time built in.
- Social Outlet - No more excuses to be home and bored.
- Quality People - Members have to be approved. Singles and couples may join but you must have a membership with a current picture of yourself on your profile. Also, we charge a small yearly admin fee to help keep up with meetup fees and costs managing so many events. (Note: all new members get a 30 day free trial before fees are required)
- Friendship - Finding friends with common interests is encouraged. You must be in your 40s, 50s, or 60s to be a member of this Meetup.
As your organizer, I promise good communication and organized activities. In return, I ask that members keep their RSVPs current.

Join us for the best fireworks show in the Columbus area, Dublin Independence Day Celebration!
7pm-8:00pm: We'll gather at Bridge Park North Market Bar to meet n greet for a bit and grab some drinks and eats.
8:00pm-8:45pm: Head over the Bridge to Old Dublin and Condados/Getaway Brewing (second meetup spot).
8:00pm-9:45pm (alternate): Uber to Dublin Coffman High School for live music featuring 38 Special (yes, the real band!) Kansas plays from 6-7:30pm!
8:45pm: Walk (.9 mile/20 minute walk) over to Cardinal Health grassy knoll on Emerald Pkwy to hear some of the music and find great spots to watch/hear the fireworks!
9:50pm: FIREWORKS SHOW!
AFTERPARTY: traffic is bad for a while so either get in line to exit the parking garage OR hang out at PINS (or Roosevelt Room) open til late back at Bridge Park.

Old School Groove - Vintage rock, southern rock, blues, reggae. Originals mixed with 60s & 70s classics. Getcha groove on!
Flint Station is an old depot venue for drinks and live music. They usually have a bbq food truck on location. Feel free to bring your own takeout. I'll bring a basket of snacks. NO COVER
They're planning for a beautiful summer evening performance in the beer garden. However, if the weather doesn't cooperate...they will be upstairs in the old-time dance hall. Either way...it's going to be a night to remember!!

Come on out to The Delaware Summer On Winter Music Series with Trailer Park Ninjas!! You'll hear some cover tunes from a good party band. Grab a great meal & adult beverage while you listen to the music under the arch on Winter Street in Downtown Delaware!
MEET & DRINK: We'll meet at OAK & BRAZEN WINE COMPANY and then walk down a block to secure space for the concert. They have appetizers and yummy wine slushies to go, too! More into beer? Barley Hopsters and Staas Brewery are within the same block.
BRING: a chair and picnic, if you like. Family friendly so invite kids, too.
FOOD: food trucks, Buns Restaurant, Son of Thurman, and lots of really good restaurant food you can order to go.
