What we’re about
Colorado Springs Cycling Club (CSCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1987 to provide a variety of bicycling activities. We have weekly rides, annual rides, member meetings with educational topics and parties, and training. For non-club rides such as Elephant Rock, we use Meetup to let our members know who is planning to attend so they can carpool and possibly ride together.
If you are not yet a member of CSCC, we invite you to join us for one ride. If you have a good time and want to ride with us more, you can visit our website to join the club. Annual dues are $30 for an individual or $50 for a family.

ROUTE: Woodmen Trail, Cottonwood Creek and Greenway
This Wednesday's 22.6 mile ride follows the scenic bike trail system north and east through the city. Beginning on the Pikes Peak Greenway and Cottonwood Creek trails it crosses onto the Woodmen Trail at Heavenwood Rd. The return follows west along Zephyr and Shrider Rds. crossing at Vincent Dr. to follow the Greenway home. The route has 1140 feet of steady climbing from the start point to the midpoint (see RidewithGPS link below):https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50173196
The Wednesday Morning Ride is an intermediate (10-14 mph), no-drop ride with catch-up points along the route. There will be a planned rest stop along the route, but we will have a “sweep” and will regroup as necessary to ensure no rider is left behind. The ride leader will publish a Ride with GPS link to the route the weekend before the ride with a start location. You can download a free version of the app from your phones app store.
We will ride 18-30 miles depending on weather and road conditions. Unless noted, we will leave from Legacy Plaza off the I-25 and Centennial exit and ride in different directions each week.
Please arrive early enough to check your bikes ABC’s (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.
If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the ride leader and others know you will be there.
NOTE: With uncertain weather patterns, this ride may become a “show-n-go”. The leader will update the Meetup event as soon as possible. The group that does show agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page.
