About us
Hey you wine lovers! This is a group for novice wine explore to the knowledgeable wine consumer to have the opportunity to taste and experience new wines. We will offer several different venues for wine exploration. On a weekly basis you will have the opportunity to preview wines that are presented by our staff and, from time to time, our vendors. You will also have opportunity to join wine paring dinners with local restaurants. Lastly, you will be invited to wine classes. These classes will generally have a food pairing component, wine education, and plenty of good conversation.

Magic gives way to tasting, tasting returns to magic, each enhancing the other as the experience drifts back and forth like a pendulum of delight. Pick and Pour. Where your best friend becomes your best presentation. Bring your single friend… and your laptop. Create a short, funny, heartfelt, or wildly persuasive PowerPoint pitching why your friend is the catch of the night. Think dating profile meets TED Talk—with a glass of wine in hand. Tickets include a glass of wine and all the laughs.

This class explores the dramatic intersection of wine and geology—where vines are rooted in soils born from fire, ash, and shifting earth. We’ll look at how volcanic landscapes are formed through tectonic forces like subduction (one plate sliding beneath another), rifting (plates pulling apart), and mantle hotspots, all of which create the raw terrain that shapes these unique wines. Volcanic soils such as basalt, pumice, ash, and tuff are often low in nutrients but highly expressive in wine, forcing vines to dig deep and resulting in wines with tension, bright acidity, smoky undertones, and a distinct mineral or saline edge. We’ll taste through key volcanic regions including Mount Etna, Santorini, Canary Islands, and volcanic-influenced sites like Willamette Valley, connecting geology directly to what’s in the glass. A journey through fire, stone, and some of the world’s most electric wines.
