What we’re about
San Diego is a dream location for hiking year-round. It offers hiking opportunities in the city, on the coast, in the mountains, and in the desert. You can access the beauty of San Diego quickly. And, you can have a wide variety of hiking experiences based on your interests, experience, fitness, and desire.
The goal of our group is to help you get out there; to be able to say that you are STILL hiking in San Diego. Because, it's a safe bet that you will continue hiking in this beautiful county (and beyond) once you experience what it has to offer.
We invite all levels of hikers to join the group although most of our events are moderate or experienced level hikes. We trust you to know your abilities and sign up for hikes that are suitable for you.
Please plan to attend all hikes for which you RSVP. If a last minute emergency happens, either leave a comment on the hike or directly message the event host through MeetUp. No-shows when there is a limited waiting list may keep others from attending and may result in removal from the group. Be courteous and helpful!
