About us

Latin dance in the Fraser Valley — for people who've never danced a step in their lives, and for people who already have the bug.
I'm Salsa Paul. I teach salsa and merengue in Chilliwack, and this group exists to get you actually dancing — not "someday when I'm less awkward," but this Tuesday.
WHAT WE DO

$10 on launch night July 28, then $15 every Tuesday.
Cash is easiest — Interac e-Transfer and PayPal also welcome.
The Grand Hall is a beautifully restored art deco room in District 1881 — built-in bar, great sound, elevator access, and a rooftop patio looking out at the Cheam range.
🌳 Secret Salsa Popups — outdoor sessions through the summer. Register and the location gets DMed to you the morning of. Sneakers, water, and 90 minutes of salsa and merengue from the ground up.
WHO IT'S FOR
Everyone. No partner needed — we rotate, we mix, nobody sits out. No experience needed — two left feet are genuinely fine, and "I've never danced before" is the most common thing people tell me. No fancy shoes, no pressure.
Come solo. Come with a friend. Come after work in whatever you're wearing.
WHAT TO EXPECT
I teach from the absolute basics, step by step, in plain language. You'll learn real moves — not a watered-down version — and you'll leave having danced with actual people rather than just watched a demo. It's social, it's a little goofy, and it's a lot more welcoming than you're probably imagining.
Latin dance is one of the fastest ways I know to feel good in your body and meet people who aren't glued to a screen. That's the whole point of this group.
