What we’re about
Welcome! This is a community for women of all ages and backgrounds who have chosen a childfree life (animal "babies" are, of course, always welcome!). We are an LGBTQ+ inclusive group. To keep our focus clear, membership is specifically for women who do not have and are not planning for children. This means our group is not the right fit for mothers, including those with adult children, or for women whose partners have children.
Our goal is to build genuine friendships through fun social events. From brunch and happy hours to hiking and craft classes, we're always looking for new adventures. Member suggestions for meetups are highly encouraged!
Group Guidelines
To ensure a positive and respectful environment for everyone, please adhere to the following:
- RSVP Commitment: Please keep your RSVP updated and provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. No-shows will result in removal from the group.
- Socially-Focused Events: Our official meetups are all about social, recreational, and interest-based activities. Organizers will not schedule events centered around political or religious themes, such as protests, rallies, campaign events, or worship services. We want our calendar to be full of activities that all members can feel comfortable and excited to join.
- Politics and Religion: We all come from different backgrounds and hold a wide range of personal beliefs. To ensure a welcoming environment, we need to be respectful and mindful around political or religious discussions (or possibly avoid them entirely). Let’s keep our conversations respectful, positive, and open to everyone.
- Profile Requirements: Your profile must include a clear photo of yourself and your first name so we can recognize you at events.
Thank you for helping us keep this a positive space. Adherence to these guidelines is essential, and failure to follow them may be met with a friendly warning and, if necessary, removal from the group. We look forward to meeting you!
