We hope it provides a safe space for people who like all things anime, including cosplay, gaming, and geek culture. With this group, you can expect events like conventions, films at local theaters, seasonal anime screenings, arcade nights, and more!

We have a girl's group (get in touch with Neikey, one of our organizers), and a guy's group (get in touch with Mike, one of our organizers) to provide a safe space for people and allow people to hang out offline.

• Opened in 2022, the Insect Asylum is a nonprofit taxidermy & entomology museum featuring a collection of over 4,500 insects & several (adoptable) critters.
• I don't imagine we'll be seeing many of the live critters during the party, but their normal business hours allow visitors to touch & hold some very interesting creatures!

Lincoln Square Apple Fest 2-4pm 10/4

Description:
With the start of fall, we have the Lincoln Square Apple Fest. This is a community led event for those attending. Whether you’re new to the group or a regular, this is a laid-back way to meet new people with similar interests!
We're gonna walk around & eat/chat.About Lincoln Square Apple Fest:
This is the 39th annual Apple Fest in Lincoln Square. Despite our group going on Sunday, this will be open on Friday and Saturday as well. This will be filled with apple-inspired dishes, non-alcoholic ciders, and beers from local vendors and restaurants. There will also be live music and DJs for your listening entertainment.
Note on Admission:
- Admission is a suggested $5 donation at the gate.
- These donations will help the nonprofit organization of the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce to support the community place-making projects and small business programming provided locally by the Chamber of Commerce.
Schedule:
- 2 PM: Attendees will meet at the Sulzer Regional Library to talk and gather as a group.
- 2:15 PM: The group will enter the fest. The fest venue isn't too big.
