A Relaxed Community Ride Through Charlotte

Looking for a low-pressure way to get outside, meet new people, and explore Charlotte on two wheels?

Join us for the first Together We Ride, a welcoming community bike ride from Freedom Park to Park Road Park and back. This ride is open to all skill levels and is designed as an approachable introduction to Charlotte’s cycling community.
​
Most people are welcome to come solo. If this is your first Charlotte Together event or your first group ride, this is a great place to start. This is not a race—ride at your own pace and enjoy the route.

Ride Details

Meet-up: 9:30 AM
Wheels roll: 10:00 AM
Meeting spot: By the train at Freedom Park
Route: Freedom Park → Park Road Park → Freedom Park
Distance: Approximately 7–7.2 miles round trip

Please arrive by 9:30 AM so everyone has time to gather before take-off.

What to Bring

• A bike in safe working condition
• Water
• A helmet (strongly encouraged)
• Weather-appropriate clothing and sun protection
• Good energy

We'll be playing Mansions of Madness Second Edition, a cooperative horror and mystery board game inspired by Lovecraftian themes. Investigate strange events, solve puzzles, battle monsters, and try to keep your sanity intact.

New players are absolutely welcome. No experience is required, and rules will be taught before we begin.

Location: The Vivian apartment community lounge/common area in Uptown Charlotte.

Game length: Approximately 3–4 hours.

Seats may be limited depending on the scenario selected, so please RSVP if you plan to attend.

Whether you're an experienced investigator or completely new to horror board games, we'd love to have you join us.

Game begins promptly at 2pm come 15 minutes early. You will not be able to join mid game.

Come flow in the park to reconnect with yourself and nature! We’ll move through a combination of a vinyasa and hatha based flow incorporating pranayama (breath) and meditations. All experience levels welcome! Bring a mat and some water. There is parking on the street.
