Hi! I’m Glenda-Sensei, director of Westminster Suzuki Strings. Welcome to the Carroll County Suzuki Violin Community Meetup!
This community is for violinists of all levels and ages who are interested in the Suzuki violin method. Children as young as 3, can learn to play violin!
Whether you (or your child) is an absolute beginner or a more experienced player you’re welcome to join us!
I’m offering two types of community group classes for the larger carroll community. A family group class and a Masterclass:
- Family class: all ages and playing levels welcome. Classes are $6 each, you’ll need to register in advance. See each individual event to register. We will of course play from the Suzuki violin school repertoire as a group. Games are used to teach technique.
- Masterclass- if you need occasional, individualized help, attend a masterclass! Open to all ages and playing levels. Masterclass slots are $15. Register in advance, see individual events for details.
Come, build community while playing violin with others in the spirit of Suzuki kindness! As Dr. Suzuki said, “If love is deep, much can be accomplished.”
