What we’re about
Canterbury Social Connections is a social group where you can meet new people, try new activities or get more people involved in the activities you enjoy.
The group is designed so that any member can 'host' an event, so there are always new types of events on the schedule. Its free to be a member, and to attend events, we just ask that active members make a donation to the running costs every 3 months.
Some members host regular events, including pub quizzes, walking, trail running, book club, meals out, badminton sessions, film club, drinks nights, music gigs, board game events and many more.
Whether you've just moved to the area, or have been here for a while and are looking to expand your social circle; come along to an event, meet some like-minded people and experience some adventures! New members are welcome at every event - we were all new once!
Once you've been to your first meetup with the group, if you want to host your own event, message one of the event organisers.
