What we’re about

Welcome to those who love to walk and find immersing themselves into the beauty of nature energising, centring and calming - no matter the time of year.

The group is for those looking to share mindful walking experiences that both give an inner focus upon the moment and to share unjudged thoughts and ideas with others for kind and loving reflection.

It doesn't matter if you know nothing about mindfulness as each walk will be lead and guided.

Walks will commence with introductions and either a standing/sitting or walking (especially if it's chilly!) couple of minutes of shared silence. Then we'll focus upon our individual experience with a guided walking meditation. The rest of the walk will be enjoyed as a social experience with a suggested topic to get discussions going.

At points in the walk, at places of particular interest, we may stop for a moment of shared silence to drink in the connection with the natural world.

There will be a mix of short and longer walks and everyone from all walks of life (excuse the pun!) are welcome.
