BrumSocial Community Philosophy

BrumSocial is a community for getting people together, discovering things to do and making the most of Birmingham.

Members are welcome to join existing events, meet-ups and groups or create their own. New people can join through existing members, personal connections or by meeting us at an event.

Active, chatty members who are up for getting involved and attending events are what keep BrumSocial going. A smaller group of people who participate will always be better than a huge group of inactive members!

Participation is at the organisers’ discretion. This helps us keep the community welcoming and enjoyable while retaining the flexibility to make decisions without making things more complicated than they need to be.

BrumSocial isn’t out to be “the biggest WhatsApp group in Birmingham” or anything like that. It’s simply about getting people together, doing things and having a good time.
