"Motion is Lotion" : (for the spirit as well as body). Join us for unforgettable trails.
Annual dues just $10. Unlimited hikes, a summer picnic, and a holiday party.
Please note we can not allow guests (legal issue) or dogs (too unruly in a group)
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountains with other nature enthusiasts exploring many different trails. The majority of the hikes are moderate (3 to 7 miles) with some elevation.
We have led more than 350 hikes in the last 3 years. Join us!

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Often people ask questions about information already in the description of each hike. Please read the full description before asking any questions.
We are trying to motivate people to get out there and hike, but we also need you to motivate yourself and not sit inactive on a membership list. Same day cancellation = No show --
3 same day cancellations, no shows, or LATE cancellations will be a cause to remove you from the group.
You can always reapply for a membership if you decide to be active again and would like to sign up for events.
Do not use this group as a networking opportunity or a dating service. This group is for having fun conversations, making friends and enjoying nature together. Act civilized, respect others and bring peace, kindness, and a positive attitude to each hike or trip.
RELEASE of LIABILITY: Each time you sign up for a walk/hike, you also acknowledge that you are personally responsible for your own safety and well-being throughout the event. We are groups leader and do not have medical skills. You are liable for any injury or illness that may happen during any event you are participating in. Guests must also be members and sign up seperately. Please sign up for walks/ hikes that are within your fitness level so you can stay safe and enjoy the hikes!

Weekly: End of Summer Special - Hall Ranch
Hall Ranch, 31635 Colorado 7, Lyons, CO, USLittle bit of a drive this week, but often requested, with some added FUN
End of Summer Fun!4.5 mile out and back moderate and gorgeous hike. Can't beat this one for views. Elevation is minimal... 600ish. We will stop at the top, stretch (maybe a balance exercise) and enjoy views! One of our favorite hikes! 5 minutes of quiet on the way back to appreciate the day.
Bring a lunch (and towel) to enjoy on the St Vrain River after hike. Wear quick dry clothes ,or a change and we will go for a fantastic dip in the swimming holes of the St. Vrain, in La Vern Park (there is a parking fee, but why not support a park - or carpool) Only 3 minutes down the road in Lyons. Lee and I will bring 2 tubes to share... let's have some fun!
Easy to stop at St Vrain Market to grab a sandwich, or snack.
As always, we all participate in hikes and activities at our own risk. There are no professional guides or medics on our hikes. On this one, also no lifeguards :) By joining, you accept responsibility for your health and welfare.
