About us

The Black Religious Trauma Recovery Network is a healing community for Black survivors recovering from religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and coercive religious environments. Through culturally responsive support groups, education, and meaningful connection, we create space for survivors to reclaim their voices, reconnect with themselves, and heal without shame. Whether you remain religious, have deconstructed your faith, or are exploring a new path, you are welcome here. Healing is personal—but you don't have to journey alone.
This Meetup Group is led by Nikki G, - Founder | Trauma Recovery Coach | Speaker & Educator Specializing in Black Religious Trauma, Spiritual Abuse & Cult Recovery. She also is the host of Surviving the Black Church Podcast.
