About the Book
Chief Inspector Armand Gamache of the Sûreté du Québec and his team of investigators are called in to the scene of a suspicious death in a rural village south of Montreal. Jane Neal, a local fixture in the tiny hamlet of Three Pines, just north of the U.S. border, has been found dead in the woods. The locals are certain it’s a tragic hunting accident and nothing more, but Gamache smells something foul in these remote woods, and is soon certain that Jane Neal died at the hands of someone much more sinister than a careless bowhunter. - Reflections on a Pandemic: 5 Years LaterBerlin-Peck Memorial Library, Berlin, CT

Join us for a panel discussion reflecting on the profound impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on our community.
Our discussion panel includes a diverse group of community members across multiple professions and circumstances. They will share their experiences during the pandemic and the changes to their own lives and workplaces that came out of this world-wide experience.
It is our hope that not only will this panel discussion serve to recognize and remember a significant historical moment from a variety of perspectives but will also foster deeper understanding and appreciation of the collective efforts that helped our community endure and move forward.
The discussion will conclude with a Q and A.
