What if moving through life felt a little easier?
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, hoping to improve mobility and balance, seeking greater ease in everyday activities, or simply longing to feel more connected to yourself, this workshop offers an opportunity to slow down and explore a different way of learning through movement.
Through gentle, verbally guided movement explorations inspired by the Feldenkrais Method®, you’ll discover how greater awareness can lead to more choice, comfort, and efficiency in the way you move and respond to life’s demands. The movements are small, slow, and accessible—yet often surprisingly profound.
Many conventional approaches focus primarily on the part of the body that hurts, attempting to “fix” a symptom in isolation. While this can be helpful in certain situations, our lived experience is far more interconnected. We are dynamic, adaptive beings whose movement patterns reflect not only our physical habits, but also how we organize ourselves in the world.
Together, we’ll explore how different parts of ourselves work in relationship with one another to create our unique ways of moving, acting, and responding. By bringing awareness to these patterns, we open the door to new possibilities—discovering greater ease, reducing unnecessary effort, and expanding our capacity to adapt with resilience and grace.
This workshop isn’t about pushing harder or getting it “right.” It’s an invitation to become curious about yourself.
You may leave with:- Greater ease and comfort in movement
- Improved body awareness and coordination
- Increased mobility and efficiency
- New insights into habitual patterns and responses
- Practical tools to support wellbeing in everyday life
- A deeper sense of embodiment and self-trust
Comfort is Paramount
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. Bring a yoga mat and any props that help you rest comfortably on the floor, such as a small pillow, blanket, or cushion. Chairs will be available for anyone who prefers not to sit or work on the floor.
The workshop will include gentle movement explorations in lying, sitting, and standing positions. All activities can be adapted to meet you where you are.
