What we’re about
Welcome to Bay Area Hiking, Walking, Wellness Club!
Where Healthy Living Meets Lifelong Friendships and Love!
Our club is all about embracing a healthy lifestyle, nurturing a positive mindset, and reveling in the beauty of nature. If you're someone who enjoys Green Exercise outdoor workouts, and can hike/walk 5-8 miles without health issues (do consult your personal physician), we invite you to join us.
Here's what makes us special:
*Transformative Events: Our club events bring people together, fostering new friendships and even sparking love stories. The benefits are profound, including better health, reduced stress, and the end of isolation.
*Safety First: Your well-being is our top priority. We strictly follow CDC guidelines and protocols. If you're feeling unwell, we kindly ask you to wait until you're better to join us.
For everyone's safety and convenience, we encourage carpooling among those who know each other well.
*Stunning Locations: We're fortunate living in the bay area to have shaded forests, mountain trails, and beach walks with amazing ocean sunsets nearby. Your suggestions for new areas to explore are always welcome.
*Convenient Scheduling: Enjoy our thoughtfully scheduled events, mostly in the late morning, afternoon, and evenings, to fit your personal schedule. Allowing you to get your beauty sleep, and even your morning 'errands' are merely a stylish sprint to fetch that perfect breakfast or cup of coffee.
*Inclusivity: Whether you're reuniting with old friends or looking to meet new people while exercising outdoors, you'll find a warm and welcoming community here.
**How does nature nurture the brain? **After a 60-minute walk in nature, activity in brain regions involved in stress processing decreases...
Mental health prescription: Nature
Being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. Spending quality time in the great outdoors reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University. In addition to having mental health benefits, being outdoors opens up your senses to your surroundings and improves your sensory perception. Taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of nature has so many health benefits it can even be prescribed by a doctor.
Our Club events have a very positive impact on people's lives, people meet, fall in love💘 meet new friends, HAPPY, better health, less stress, anxiety, depression, isolate being alone and got extra bonus for LOVE 💞
*Note: We appreciate your support to keep our club thriving. Your donation/contribution helps cover our costs and enhance our meetups.
A small event fee helps cover organizing costs, including planning, permits, and many other expenses that go into making these events happen. A lot of time and effort goes into researching trails, securing permits, and managing unexpected challenges. Your support helps keep these adventures going—thank you for being part of the journey!
*When you attend our group events, implied consent is assumed for photography. If you prefer not to be photographed, please feel free to let people know.
Join us and be part of a community that not only promotes wellness but also nurtures lifelong friendships and, in some cases, love stories. We look forward to meeting you and making lasting memories together!
🌿 A Friendly Reminder from Your Host 🌿
Hi Everyone!
Just a quick note as we continue enjoying hikes, nature, and meals together as a community. These events are organized voluntarily, with a lot of care and heart — and I'm truly happy to see so many of you return and bring great energy to the group!
💡Please remember: Participation is completely voluntary.
🥾Trails are part of Mother Nature — sometimes rocky, sometimes windy, always full of surprises. 😊
🍲🍜Dinner spots are chosen for convenience and availability. Everyone’s taste is different, so please come with an open mind.
📵Phone service can be unreliable at trailheads, so double-check directions and arrive early if possible.
✨ I kindly ask everyone to bring a positive attitude, patience, and flexibility. Not everything will go perfectly — and that’s okay. What matters most is the shared experience, wellness, fresh air, and kindness to one another.
Thank you for being here and helping create a warm, kind and respectful community🌷
Let’s continue building a respectful and positive space for all 🌿

🌊 Ocean Hike 5 miles 🥾Wilder Ranch State Park 🏞️
Wilder Ranch Day Use Parking, 1842-1826 Coast Rd, Santa Cruz, CA, USHello Ocean Lover, Let's meet go on a Green exercise wellness hike, enjoy the natural beauty of the Healing Sea, Beautiful Ocean views for our physical health and mental Well-being 😇
Sometimes all you need is an easy stroll by the ocean to refresh your spirits. This track along the Pacific Ocean north of Santa Cruz is one of the best places in California to do just that.
You'll see gulls, geese, pelicans, and other waterfowl and you might hear the distant bark of passing sea lions. If your timing's right, you might even spot passing whales on their annual migrations.
Wilder Ranch State Park is a CA State Park on the Pacific Ocean coast north of Santa Cruz. The park was formerly a dairy ranch, and many of the ranch buildings have been restored for use as a museum.
Another bonus: touring the grounds of a farm replete with antique cars, farm machinery, and other remnants of farming life along the Pacific in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This track is very basic: just start out from the parking lot at the Wilder Ranch State Park visitors center and follow Old Cove Landing Trail along the ocean. Eventually, it turns northward again and loops back to where you started.
The trail surface is a natural surface (dirt, sand, rocks). It is typically at least 8 feet wide. There are railroad crossings ...
The whole trail is estimated to be in the mostly gentle (5% or less) grade category. All-terrain tires or motorized equipment may be needed for the surface type and grade.
Meet: 1:30pm at the parking lot trailhead near the restrooms

🥾Dipsea Trail 8 miles Hike Mount Tamalpais 🏞️ from Stinson Beach 🏖️
Stinson Beach Parking, 43 Arenal Ave, Stinson Beach, CA, USHello Ocean Lovers! Ready to trade the treadmill for ocean breezes? 🌊 Let’s gather for a “green exercise” wellness hike from beautiful Stinson Beach to the scenic Dipsea Trail! Fresh sea air, breathtaking views, and the soothing sounds of the waves await. 🌞 Come make new friends, recharge your body, and let the healing magic of the ocean lift your spirit. Because nothing beats a little seaside therapy for our physical health and mental well-being! 😇
The Dipsea Trail is a famous, strenuous 7.5-mile hiking path in Marin County, California, running from Mill Valley over Mt. Tamalpais to Stinson Beach, known for its challenging climbs (like Cardiac Hill), redwood forests, coastal views, and as the route for America's oldest trail race. Hikers enjoy diverse scenery, but should prepare for steep sections, poison oak, and potential fog...
Key Features & Experience:
- Route: Mill Valley to Stinson Beach, crossing Mt. Tamalpais
- Distance: About 7.5 miles
- Difficulty: Strenuous, with steep ascents and descents
- Scenery: Lush forests, redwood groves, coastal redwoods, ocean views, and Mt. Tamalpais panoramas
- Highlights: Cardiac Hill, Muir Woods (section), Stinson Beach
- Activities: Hiking, trail running, birding
Mount Tamalpais State Park is a CA State Park, in Marin County. The primary feature of the park is the 2,571 feet Mount Tamalpais. The park contains mostly redwood and oak forests. The mountain itself covers around 25,000 acres.
Hike from the Pacific Ocean all the way up to the Pantoll Ranger Station. This route offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, rushing streams, and beautiful waterfalls.
The hike begins along the Dipsea Trail in the town of Stinson Beach. It climbs gradually with many ocean views until you reach its junction with the Steep Ravine Trail. Be sure to turn around and take in the incredible views of Stinson Beach on your way up this section.
The Steep Ravine Trail, climbing 1000 ft. to Pantoll Ranger Station in 1.5 miles, is one of the best hiking trails in Marin County. The water rushing through Webb Creek has created a spectacularly steep, lush canyon shaded by towering redwood trees and populated with a wide variety of local flora and fauna. This dense forest looks like something out of a fairy tale.
There are two significant waterfalls along Webb Creek in Steep Ravine. The upper falls requires climbing up the waterfall via a 10 ft. high ladder (my favorite hike). The waterfalls on Mount Tamalpais are best seen in the winter or early spring months or after there has been a lot of rain
