What we’re about
Welcome to Australian Shepherds of the Blue Ridge! This group is dedicated to connecting Australian Shepherd owners in the Blue Ridge area (western part of Northern Virginia and nearby West Virginia, including western Loudoun, Clarke, Fauquier and Frederick Counties in Virginia, and Jefferson County, West Virginia). The goal is to get to know each other and plan special outings with our Aussies, such as hikes, swims, play dates and the like. We welcome all Aussies (including MAS) and are also happy to support Australian Shepherd-focused organizations such as rescue groups. We will organize events and activities within a reasonable distance from our area with input from group members.
This is not a kennel club or a training group; however, it is expected that those who participate in any group events will ensure their dogs are up-to-date on appropriate vaccinations, are well-behaved around other dogs and people, and will take full responsibility for their dogs and themselves.

Join us for meetups and events that cater to the interests of Australian Shepherd owners in our community.
