Arvada Bestseller Book Club

This month we will get together to discuss "Weyward" by Emilia Hart. A historical fiction novel that explores witchcraft, female power, and the connection between women and nature. The book features three main characters, each living in a different time period, who are all connected to the Weyward witches.

We will have a chance to chat and grab wine/food if you want from 6:30-7pm, then we will start the book discussion right at 7pm.

This month we will get together to discuss "Trust" by Hernan Diaz, The 2023 Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction. This is a novel about a powerful financier and his wife, told through multiple, conflicting narratives. As different versions of their story unfold, the book explores themes of wealth, truth, and who gets to control the narrative.

This month we will get together to discuss "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir. In this novel, amnesiac Ryland Grace, a former science teacher, wakes up alone on a spacecraft, the only survivor of a mission to the Tau Ceti system. He learns he's on a last-ditch effort to save humanity, as their sun is being dimming by an alien microbe called Astrophage. Ryland must figure out how to reverse the dimming and send data back to Earth, despite the ship being on a one-way journey.
