Talk: Practical AI UseCases
Abstract: In this talk, I’ll walk through real-world AI use cases I’ve built for clients and my own business – including invoice automation, content creation using AI automations, and business plan validation. The talk can either provide a broad overview or a deep dive into one specific topic.
The focus is on practical insights: what worked, what didn’t, and how others can apply similar approaches in their own projects – without large budgets or big teams.18:45 - 19:15; Speaker II: Maximilian Burkardt
Talk: Enterprise Agents - Use Cases, Maturity Levels & AgentOps Platform
Abstract: 2025 is shaping up to be the year of AI Agents, with enterprises shifting from traditional assistants to autonomous and orchestrated Agents, Tools and Workflows. But how do these Agents differ from past solutions and how can businesses effectively implement them at scale?
In this session, we’ll explore key enterprise use cases, from pre-built Agents and a low-code builder to custom Agents powered by Open Source frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain and Crew.ai. We’ll also dive into AgentOps - how to manage, monitor and scale AI Agents in production. Finally, we’ll look at the role of Open Source in this transformation and how IBM watsonx is powering the next generation of Enterprise AI.19:15 - 19:45; Break (food & drinks)
19:45 - 20:15; Speaker III: Danko Nikolic
Talk: A short update on Gating
Abstract: We have made some progress on gating. We have been able to train a gated neural network to perform a generalized XOR task, which is very hard and in some cases even impossible for deep learning. That means that we have a demo of gating in action on a small task. The next step is scaling the technology for a large real-world problem.20:15 - 20:30; Announcements
20:30 - SocializingSpecial thanks to Michael Herrmann and Katja Bruner for hosting our event at IBM Frankfurt.
