Hello all,
This group is a social group to meet new people and enjoy delicious coffee together at various Arlington coffee shops. This group is open to everyone! The group will start out meeting at coffee shops, having a coffee together and engaging in great conversation. Over time I hope to expand the group outings to doing various other social activities.
As of July 2024, Meetup.com has doubled the cost of the subscription to be able to run this group(~$360/yr). The goal is to keep this group going and to keep it FREE for all members. If you would like to support the group, please use the Pledge feature to donate. All dollars raised will be directly reinvested into the group. Thank you!

Pre-Holiday Weekend Happy Hour
BOE Arlington, 2854 Wilson Blvd Suite B, Arlington, VA, USThe perfect way to start a holiday weekend is with a Happy Hour, and a new bar to explore.
Up next is the Tiki rooftop of BOE (a country themed bar). Since fall is around the corner, it should (hopefully) be perfect weather for a rooftop hangout. If it ends up rainy, we at least have the first floor to gather in.
BOE (The BO Experience) is a country-themed bar in Clarendon, not far from the other spots we tend to gather at (Don Tito's, for example). Happy Hour is a bit "country" as well, with $3 domestic beers, $5 well drinks and select cocktails, and even $3 bull rides (if you're feeling adventurous). Also on the menu are select bites for $7.
Happy Hour is from 5-7:30pm, so whether you're there early or getting off late at work, most people should be able to make it before the specials end.

Most streets in the area have permit requirements until late. Pay attention to any parking signs.Frank's parking pro-tips:
- 11th St Park (on 11th St. North, a couple blocks south of BOE) has 4 hr parking until 6pm, so you can try your luck for a spot there or on nearby streets. Other streets near the park are free parking after 5pm (no permit needed).
- N. Edgewood St has permit requirements only until 5pm, so it's free after. It's 1 block Northeast of BOE.

Take the Orange/Silver lines to Clarendon stop, walk 2 blocks east on Wilson Blvd.
