AI Exchange July Ft. Wayve, Tessl, Snyk
Tessl, 4th Floor, 210 Pentonville Rd London, N1 9JY, London, GBJoin us on Thursday 30th July for our next AI Exchange event, hosted by Tessl at their London HQ in Kings Cross.
Wayve are sharing how they're putting AI agents to work in software development, with a focus on making sure their output is actually reliable. Tessl are exploring how AI is changing the role of software engineer. Finally, Snyk will examine how the core principles of Security and the emerging practices of AgentOps serve as the definitive line of defence against non-deterministic instability.
Slightly earlier timings for this event. Doors open at 6:00pm and talks start at 6:30pm sharp. RSVP as soon as you can to secure your space.
Agenda:
Dave Kirk, Lead Engineer @ Wayve
"Agentic Code Review @ Wayve"At Wayve, we have been pursuing an approach to Agentic workflows that prioritises observability and evaluation of quality of work. Our Agentic Code Review pipeline has been at the forefront of this initiative. In this talk, we'll discuss some of the approaches and lessons learned over the past four months of operating this pipeline.
Amy Heineike, Member of Technical Staff at Tessl
"Rise of the Harness Engineer"In a world of software factories, how do engineering roles change? We'll discuss what it looks like to move up the abstraction chain, and how to start investing in guardrails and loops.
Nick Vinson, Sr. Director of Product Security @ Snyk
"Agents of Chaos? Why Autonomous AI Demands Ironclad Operations"Driven by the fear of being left behind, enterprises have deployed fleets of autonomous AI agents at breakneck speed, rapidly shifting them from sandboxed novelties to active digital "employees". Left ungoverned, widespread agent usage introduces severe, systemic risks, ranging from cascading operational outages and data exposure via prompt injection, to unauthorised financial spending and compliance violations occurring at machine speed.
In this session, we will examine how the core principles of DevSecOps and the emerging practices of AgentOps serve as the definitive line of defence against non-deterministic instability. We will look past the hype to explore how traditional pillars, such as identity and access management (IAM), version control, configuration management, and continuous monitoring, must be adapted to audit and govern an agent's dynamic reasoning loops.
Finally, we will explore the paradox of leveraging AI to secure AI. Attendees will discover how forward-thinking security teams can build multi-agent harnesses to orchestrate security work, turning autonomous agents from an operational liability into a powerful defensive asset.
We hope to see you there for another great AI filled evening!
