What we’re about
This group is designed to bring people of all ages and abilities together to have adventures, outdoors and indoors. Our event organizers post meetups to enjoy what Oklahoma and surrounding states have to offer. Events will range from outdoor adventures including hiking, camping, and biking and indoor adventures such as dinners and museums, as well as other unique events as they come up.
Note: By RSVP'ing to meetups, you acknowledge that event hosts are volunteers, you are responsible for yourself and your actions, and the group will not be held liable for potential injuries. I want to make sure this group is a fun and safe environment for everyone but there are inherent risks associated with outdoor activities. Happy adventuring!

Merry Mitchmas 10K race and training program
Location not specified yetI did this a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. The race is held at Mitch park in Edmond. There are 2 options: a 5k and a 10k or (1 lap or 2 laps around the park respectively). There is a fee and a signup required.
To sign up for the race click here
For those interested I plan on doing practice runs with Red Coyote on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly as my schedule allows. On Tuesday meet at Edmond Red Coyote and on Thursday meet at Classen Curve Red Coyote. Both start at 6pm. Practice runs are free. Get a free beer after if that is your thing. I dont like to run in pouring rain.
There is also a free 10k running program that Red Coyote puts on. I will be signing up for this as well. I have done this previously as well. To sign up for the training program click here before November 11.
Both PPRs and the training program are well attended. You can train with people who are at your speed. I may have a lot of work to do to get "good at it"... but I frequently participate in triathlons.
If we are at different speeds that's okay. Maybe we can have a group meal together after practice runs or main event itself if interest or simply be happy and cheer each other on.
