📅Winter Co-Ed Adult Volleyball League —
In response to requests from several members, I’m exploring the idea of starting a co-ed adult volleyball league this winter and I’d love to see who’s interested.
Here’s the plan:
- We need at least 30 players to form 6 or more teams
- Teams may carry more than 6 players and rotate/sub in as needed
- The level will be Beginner-plus to Intermediate, with each team allowed only one high intermediate player to help keep things balanced
- Matches will be best-of-3 sets, following most standard volleyball rules
- Each team plays every other team twice during league play
- Depending on the number of teams, the league will run for 4–6 weeks, followed by 2–4 weeks of playoffs
- We’ll crown both a League Champion (based on standings) and a Playoff Champion (based on bracket)
Team formation: You can form your own team (with players from our group or outside), or join the free agent list. I’ll be posting a list that includes names, contact info, and player ratings to help captains and organizers build balanced teams. More details will be shared once we begin organizing the league.
📅One Day Co-Ed Tournament One-Day Tournament Proposal — Build Your Team Before the League
🏐Tentative Date: TDB
🟢Beginner+ to Intermediate skill level, max 2 Intermediate player per team
- It’s a low-stakes, high-fun way to meet new teammates and explore potential chemistry before committing to a 6–10 weeks season.
The tournament would allow you to:- Play alongside different people and get a feel for their style
- Identify potential teammates based on skill, communication, and vibe
- Consider roles or positions that complement your strengths
- Build connections organically before locking into a team
- 6-on-6 play (4 males and 2 females on the court)
- Skill level: Beginner+ (B+) and Intermediate
- Each team may include 2 Intermediate (I) players
- Please refer to the Skill Level Guide on the Group Main page
- All standard volleyball rules will be followed
- Formal rotations (like 5-1 or 6-2) are encouraged but will not be enforced

🏐 Skill Level Guide 🏐
This Skill Level Guide isn’t a universal standard — it’s based on my experience, input from a few trusted colleagues, and what’s commonly seen across the volleyball community. It’s meant to help us set expectations and create balanced teams, but it’s not perfect. If you feel a rating is off or have suggestions to improve it, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always open to feedback and refining it together.
