This group is for anyone interested in spiritual growth experiences in a joyful community of faith. Every Sunday we have a guided meditation at 10:30am and a celebration at 11:00am which includes upbeat music, prayer, affirmation and a positive message. Other special events will be posted here as well. All are welcome!

Rev. Maur, born in San Francisco, California, baptized a Catholic and then attended parochial schools in California, Washington, and Oregon as his father moved his business. He started as a seminarian and then a monk of Mount Angel Abbey for 10 years. He completed four years of theological studies for the Roman Catholic priesthood. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Angel Seminary College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Portland. His desire to have a family led him to leave the monastery and holy orders. In time became a husband and then a father to six children and twelve grandchildren.Each Sunday includes live music, a short invocation, and a message on a fresh topic.
What to expect? Woodland Chapel is:
-A learning place for New Thought & principles of Science of Mind.
Together through spiritual practice, Prayer and Affirmation we attract more good into our lives and the lives of others.
