Refund & Ticket Resell

All sales are final. We only refund the full amount, if the event is canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will send an email to those who RSVPed 'YES' advising that. A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time.

However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a "message" through their Meetup profile (do not comment in the comment box of the event posting) letting us know the full name and Meetup profile URL (if a member) of the person taking your spot. You must let us know two hours before the RSVP close time, on the day of the event.

This is not as such a Wine Tasting Event. However, they have different wines and we deserve to enjoy a ROOFTOP HAPPY HOUR, after a looooong winter:) On top of that, I organize this with my other Meetups and you will get to mix and mingle, with many insanely wicked friendly socialites.

Closest Metro Station is U Street Cardozo (Please take 13th St. Exit). Also, please take into account Metro's Weekend Track Work & Service Adjustments. Check it on http://www.wmata.com/ and plan accordingly.

Street parking might be difficult. However, if you plan to drive, there is a parking garage, under the building, right across the street from Lost Society, on U St. (Franklin D. Reeves Center Garage, 2000 14th NW, Washington DC). They are open up until 3 am and it costs $ 15 plus tax. Tel: 202-265-0010.

This is a BEER tasting night, where we pour TEN DIFFERENT types of delicious beers for hours, we get educated on the beers by top notch experts from the industry. On top of that, we socialize and mingle with many like minded beer lovers through out the evening.

ABOUT THE EVENT

This Wine tasting will be hosted virtually on Zoom. Event ID and PASS will be sent to ticket holders.

The wine tasting has got two parts.

PART 1 : The first part is where you participate with your own wine from your couch, while our DJs spinning the hottest and doppest hits. Then we will be educated by our wine experts on the following wines :

• Chateau La Cheze (rouge and blanc)

• Chateau Le Bedat

• Chateau La Font-Neuve

• Chateau Lamouroux blanc La Reserve de Mauvesin Barton (a new wine from the elite Barton family of wines, that include

• Leoville Barton & Langoa Barton)

While we are sipping our wines , there will be a dance competition, with a LIVE DJ. BTW, Our DJs are top notch DJs, who dominated the night life and club scene in DMV. For your dance competition, you can choose your selection and the DJ will paly it for you.

The winner will get a gift certificate to one of the restaurants in the area, amounting to 20% of the proceeds of this event. Try to show off your moves and dance off:)

PART 2 : will be hosted two weeks after the first event and attendees will be given the link where to buy the above wines. They will order them from the link and have them delivered (please don't open them before the tasting date). On the tasting day, we will open our wines and undertake a real tasting with the experts.

By hosting this event, we will be helping you to be educated and relax during this hard times. Support our wine importers, experts and wine stores. Contribute to the restaurant industry. Bring back, our DJs, to work.
