What we’re about
Make new friends and meet some interesting ladies at this new brunch club for SLO women (sorry guys!). Our ages will generally be 30's to 50's, but 60+ are welcome! Must be over 21. Let's get together one or two Sundays a month to stuff ourselves and have great conversation! We'll pick restaurants along the coast from Cambria to Pismo Beach. We can also opt to have a brunch at one of our homes. For safety and security, we will limit those brunches to active members. Also, we request that all members upload a current picture to their profile. Occasionally, we will have a non-brunch event.
We currently have a limit of 500 members, and we do not charge a membership fee. While it is free to be a member of the SLO Ladies Brunch Club, there is a monthly cost for the organizers. To help defray this cost, we may charge a nominal (typically $3 - $5) fee to RSVP/attend the meetup. We may switch from RSVP fee to membership fee in the future. We also accept donations.
Please follow our RSVP Rules: If you RSVP "yes" for an event, it is important that you attend. Since most of our events require making reservations at restaurants, we need to let them know the exact number of diners. Also, we discourage members from holding a spot just in case they might want to go. That keeps others, who would go, from getting a spot. While there are waitlists, they just don't work well on meetup.com. So, don't RSVP "yes", unless you're really going to go. With that in mind, cancellations within 24 hours of the event are considered a "no-show". If you have too many no-shows, your membership in the group will be terminated.

Anyone free this Wednesday?
Join me for dinner at Mama's Meatball inside the Creamery Marketplace in SLO. It's a popular Italian restaurant known for its authentic, homemade dishes and cozy atmosphere. They offer a wide array of Italian dishes, including handcrafted pastas, pizzas, and entrees, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Signature dishes include Fettuccine Alfredo (which can be prepared tableside), lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, and more. They also bake their own garlic bread knots, pizza dough, sandwich breads, cookies, and pastries from scratch daily.
I can't wait to dig into their cheesecake - my favorite dessert! Here is a link to their menu.
The address is 570 Higuera St #130, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Parking is almost impossible on the street in downtown SLO, and lots fill up quickly, so allow extra time to find parking. There are a number of parking garages nearby.
The reservation will be in my name. Please arrive 5 minutes early so we can be seated together.
I hope to see you there!
