What we’re about
Rocky Mountain Cycling Club is a Colorado community of cyclists who share a love for adventurous, challenging rides. We offer a year-round series of club rides and events and support each other as we pursue our cycling goals. RMCC formed in the fall of 1993.

See all- RMCC Road Ride: Golden Gate LoopsGolden Gate Canyon Road Parking Lot, Golden, CO
For this ride we'll meet at the parking lot at the intersection of Highway 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Road just west of Golden at 7:45 for an 8:00 departure.
We'll start out with the challenging club up Golden Gate Canyon Road up to Highway 119. We'll take that over to Coal Creek Canyon and pass through the aptly-named Wondervu. We'll descent partway down the canyon before turning right to climb up Twin Spruce/Gap road.
The lower/paved part of Gap Road is quite challenging. It then becomes less steep and turns to smooth dirt. We'll drop down Mountain Base and Crawford Gulch. We have one last short, but steep and partially dirt climb up Drew Hill before descending back to the bottom.
The total route is 67 miles with 8500 feet of vertical. There is a total of 5 miles of dirt--all of that is super-rideable on standard road tires.
