Toastmasters District 53 represents over 3000 members in more than 140 clubs throughout Connecticut, eastern New York, and western Massachusetts. Our Clubs provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Geoff Thomas, the Club’s Sergeant at Arms states “We have no teachers or students - only individuals who want to help each other improve. Every speaker has an evaluator who gives positive, encouraging feedback on areas to improve, while praising the things that were done well”
Founded in 1952, Park City Toastmasters of Stratford is the President’s Distinguished club and also the oldest surviving Toastmasters club in Connecticut, having celebrated it’s 72nd anniversary this March. Toastmasters International also celebrated it’s 100-year anniversary. Founded in 1924, the organization is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado with over 270,000 members in more than 14,000 clubs in 150 countries.
Park City Toastmasters of Stratford holds hybrid meetings every Tuesday at 7:30pm EST at 7003 Main St in Stratford, Lord Chamberlain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center(across from the Sikorsky factory).
