Join us for a run in the Marin Headlands and optionally pizza & beer after at The Junction. Bring warm clothes for after in case we sit outside.
This run is at a moderate pace, making it a good choice for most intermediate level runners.
Distance: 5-6 miles.
Cumulative elevation gain: 800-1200 ft.
Avg. Pace: 11+ min/mile depending on the group.
Course: Varies, but will generally be a loop with 1 good climb.
Terrain: Hilly fire roads and singletrack.
Difficulty: Moderate
Services: Bathrooms at the parking lot (no running water). Bring water if you need it.
Drop/No-Drop: This is a no-drop run - we'll stop and regroup at intersections and hilltops.
Directions: From Hwy 101, take the Mill Valley Stinson Beach Hwy 1 exit. After the light, make a left onto Tennessee Valley Rd. Drive to the very end of Tennessee Valley Rd and park in the parking lot. Look for runners gathering near the picnic tables by the Tennessee Valley Trail gate.
