Frankfurt Game Lovers

Am 2. und 4. Donnerstag findet jeden Monat ein offener Brettspielabend im Stadtteilbüro Senefelderquartier von 18:30-22:00 Uhr statt. Vor Ort stehen zirka 45 Spiele zur Verfügung, gerne können eigene Spiele mitgebracht werden.

Vom Hauptbahnhof Offenbach ist das Stadtteilbüro in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Every Thursday at 19.00 there is a boargaming meetup at Mehrgenerationhaus (Frankfurt Gallus). The event is organized on Boardgamegeek: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/guild/414
In the corresponding thread you can announce a game in advance if you want to find other players to play with you. But this is not necessary. There are always gamers called "Spontanspieler" that meet at the location and decide on what to play right there.
New faces are always welcome and english is no problem. There is no fee for the location and you can bring your own food and beverages. In fact you need to because nothing is sold at the location.
The place has no Ludothek. Players bring the games to play theirselves. So fell free to bring you favourite games.

Groups form and games start usually at 7 PM. So anyone showing up later - even if only a little bit - might not be able to join a game right away."

BGG-Guild Rhein-Main exists now for about 10 years and after some years of wandering through several restaurants in Frankfurt a few years ago the boardgame meetup has found it's home at Mehrgenerationhaus. With very seldom exceptions (Xmas etc.) it takes place every Thursday.

There you can also reserve a place for the event. This is especially important if you are not vaccinated against covid yet or have recovered from a former covid infection. If those both option don't apply for you, you have to reserve a place on the BGG-Forum and bring a negative test result, when visiting the meetup.
