How else is it similar/different from Traditional Speed Dating
One on One dates:
We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.
Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).
You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.

How many potential dates will be there?
The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 15. If for any reason there were less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you would get credit for a future Virtual event.

**Our events are co-organized by multiple groups so don't pay attention to the RSVPs. These events are consistently well attended. Members get tickets and don't RSVP.
Join us for a fun, social adventure at our Grand Central Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt. You donât need any special skills for this activity. Get ready to have a good time making new friends and solving a mystery. Plus, you'll find out things about Grand Central you never knew before!
How It Works:
- When you arrive we will put you on teams - if you donât already have one (90% of those attending will not have a team).
- Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head to Grand Central to try and uncover the mystery of Maryâs demise. The team with the most points wins.
- Once everyone is back we'll safely socialize where you can share your experiences with the others.
The Theme:
Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You'd probably know her if you've been out before. She was very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need you help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of the NYC Landmark in ways that you never have before! (If you have participated in our other Grand Central Hunts no worries as this is a completely different experience)FAQs:
Can I come alone? Yes about 90% will attend on their own.
What's dress code? Wear what you had on at work. It's casual and comfortable.
What are the ages? 21 and over. We'll have a good mix of ages.
