In honor of the Direction of the Southwest, the Lodge of the Mediums and Singers, offered at the end of summer and the beginning of fall, a time of the first fruits of the harvest. A time of celebration and rest. For this lodge we will start the fire early in the morning before the fullness of the heat of the day. This is our wamest time of the year and so we honor the fullness of this time of expansion, rapid growth and interaction leading to love or war. Creating synergy or conflict. Come and learn the teachings of balance in the Southwest. The saying in this lodge is that we need to take a history to prophecy the future. We cannot see where we are going until we see where we come from. This is the role of the singers to tell the stories of how it all came about, and the mediums then sense into the winds of the future and be a prophet calling the people to return to balance.

You are invited to make a weekend experience of this. This lodge is falling on a full moon and during the summer you cannot see the full moon from my forest. We plan to go next door to Forest Farm to have an all night fire circle in a clearing around a big tree, where people can set up chairs and matts. We will include a community drum circle, a shamanic drum journey led by Lee...an all night drum beat of mother earth, An herbal tea created by Wondering Wonders foraged from this area. . We will roast ears of corn in the fire and welcome music and offerings from others. You will have to pack in stuff a little ways with the help of a golf cart, so think simple and easy.
I will send out more on the All Night Fire Circle, but mark your dates. You can register for one or both here, and there will be a separate registration for the fire circle only. Its a great opportunity to explore the farm and enjoy a whole weekend in Nature.

If you want to be here Sunday morning to start the fire with us, come by 6:30. Otherwise you will have time to settle in and join our sharing and orientation circle if you arrive by 8:30
You can come for the Day to Forest Farms as this is there community weekend. We will begin to set up at the fire circle around 7:30. More info on this to come.

All this will be weather dependent and I will update people as we get closer.

This workshop is primarily for adults with good fitness, but older children are also welcome. Contact me to discuss.
We need to remember how to play and immerse ourselves in Nature. This Magical Child Adventure is a perfect way to let your inner child come out and be free.

The group will take a trail-less over rock hoping, over and under logs, balancing, wading, splashing and discovering new gnome homes and faery rings, critters and plantcestors on the way. Become a friend to the forest and let the forest befriend you.

Time in nature is a proven remedy for our modern hectic and stressful lives. This antidote of Vitamin N actually works for a week so come and discover the difference a Magical Child time out from life's pressures can make. Discover the pleasure and joy of a connected life.

We will enjoy wading out to turkey island and enjoying floating down the island. Collect nature objects for your altar or sand tray.
Singing nature songs together at the River's edge is another fun and uplifting activity. You will be amazed at the new energy this will bring you.
Attendees bring shoes for rocks and water. Tennnis shoes or barefoot shoes or crocs all work well. Feet and legs need some protection so also wear long pants that are light weight and easily dried if wet. You may want to go swimming at the river, so you might want bring towels and something for a little warmth if wet.

I will supply some snacks but you will want a water bottle, and if you have food restrictions, please bring what is right for you.
We will meet and share and make sure we are all properly outfitted before we go down Little Wilderness Canyon following Enchanting Run to the Sacred River. Feel your mood and let it take you for a walk. Come as you are and let nature gently open and restore you. Come with beginners mind and a willingness to live in your sensory nature.
