First Time Self-Publishing - Create Your Own Children’s Book Mockup

Join Tonya Joyner, owner of TJS Publishing House, a self-published author and experienced publishing consultant who has been helping writers navigate the publishing process since 2013 for the FINALE of the First Time Self-Publishing Authors program.
Ever wanted to write your own children's book? Join us and create a physical mockup of YOUR children's book! Learn how to create characters, scenes, backgrounds and more! We'll also discuss the importance of proper illustration, text, font, margins, and more! When you're done, you'll have your own physical copy taking your book from idea to mockup!

An "Art of Reading Tour" with The Mint Museum

This session is virtual and will be based on the book:
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.
The presenters will be docents from The Mint Museum."These tours create connections between timeless and modern-day literary classics and the visual arts. Gallery tour of selected art pieces at the museum help bring to life historic events, social customs and lifestyles of the time period depicted in each book. All tours are 60 minutes and are presented by veteran Mint docents."
