Join us weekly at Freedom Park as we traverse the trails and discuss a particular article, podcast episode, or short story on our walks - something short and sweet to provide a fun and engaging discussion while we get our steps in.

All trails are fully paved, and we'll walk at a pace that's comfortable for everyone, walking about 1.5 miles total.

Join us for an intimate and meaningful evening of remembrance, reflection, and community.

Día de los Muertos is a time to honor the lives, celebrate the memories, and keep alive the stories of those who continue to hold a special place in our hearts.

We invite you to gather with us at South Boulevard Library for a heartfelt evening of remembering loved ones, sharing stories, and reflecting together in a warm and welcoming space.

Bring a memory. Share a story. Or simply be here.

We encourage you to bring a meaningful keepsake or memorial item that connects you to someone you'd like to honor, including a beloved pet. This could be a photograph, family recipe, poem, written remembrance, or another cherished item that carries a special memory.

Let your memories live on beyond our gathering.

For those who wish to participate, there will also be an opportunity to contribute to a community remembrance display at the Día de Muertos Festival at Camp North End on November 1.

Photographs, poems, recipes, written memories, and other items that can be clipped to a display line may be included with your permission.

• Copies can be made at the library, allowing you to keep your original keepsakes.
• You're welcome to bring other meaningful items to share during our gathering, even if they cannot be included in the festival display.
• You do not need to attend the festival for your remembrance to be included.

Come together over food, memories, and community.
Traditional Día de los Muertos food and beverages will be provided as we share this special evening together.
Event Details

• Location: South Boulevard Library
• 5:30 PM: Optional self-guided activity for those who wish to arrive early
• 6:00 PM: Main program begins
• Who can attend: Adults and teens accompanied by an adult

All remembrance, reflection, and display activities are entirely optional. Whether you choose to share a story, honor someone quietly, or simply be present with others, you are welcome.

Te invitamos a traer algún objeto o recuerdo significativo que te conecte con alguien a quien deseas honrar, incluyendo a una mascota querida. Puede ser una fotografía, una receta familiar, un poema, unas palabras escritas o cualquier otro objeto especial que guarde una historia.

Que tus recuerdos sigan vivos más allá de nuestro encuentro.
Quienes lo deseen también tendrán la oportunidad de contribuir a una exhibición comunitaria de recuerdos durante el Festival del Día de Muertos en Camp North End, el 1 de noviembre.

Con tu permiso, podremos incluir fotografías, poemas, recetas, recuerdos escritos y otros materiales que puedan sujetarse a una cuerda de exhibición.

• Podremos hacer copias en la biblioteca para que conserves tus recuerdos originales.
• También puedes traer otros objetos significativos para compartir durante nuestro encuentro, aunque no puedan formar parte de la exhibición del festival.

• 5:30 p. m.: Actividad opcional para quienes deseen llegar temprano y participar a su propio ritmo
• 6:00 p. m.: Inicio del programa principal
• Dirigido a: Adultos y adolescentes acompañados por un adulto
