Amsterdam Social Rides (by Cycle Capital Cycling Club)

Every month we organise one or more Cycle Capital Social Rides. On Sunday, October 12th, we will gather at 10:00 hrs at our partner Café & Restaurant Wissenkerke at Amsterdam Sloterdijk for a 50 - 90 km tour in the green surroundings of our beautiful city.

Sports & Fun
Central theme for these Social Rides is: riding your race bike at a nice pace, enjoying the great area's around Amsterdam and get to know new people within our cycle club.

Everyone can join, regardless of age or level. We teach you how to find your best way out of the city on a race bike. To optimize security, we cycle in groups of max. 8 cyclists. The average speed is between 25 and 30 km per hour.

We meet at 10.00 hrs for a nice coffee, start at 10.30 hrs and are back at the starting point at approx. 14.00 hrs.

Cycle Capital Riding Standards

• We ride in groups of max. 8 people
• We obey the traffic rules
• Stupid (road) behavior is strange to us
• ‘Out together, home together’ (no drop policy)
• Your road bike is in good condition (brakes working properly)
• Bicycle helmet is compulsory
• Clipless cycling pedal-shoes
• Bring along spare tube(s), and food and drinks to fuel your ride
