Downstairs features an intimate dining area, and upstairs features a lounge for late-night drinks and social activities. However only Valet parking is available. You may also choose to park in the adjacent streets, use a ride sharing service, taxi or the bus (#2 or #13 from AlaMoana Shopping Center). La Cucina Ristorante Italiano - Dinner for 6, Kakaako (39)
La Cucina Ristorante Italiano, 725 Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu, HI, USI canceled the March event due to flooding. Then my work got really busy for the next 3+ months, As a result I haven't been posting many events of late. But you'll start seeing more dinners as I get back into the swing of things.
I'm giving folks who signed up for the March dinner first cracks at this one. La Cucina #40 has already been scheduled, so there will be other opportunities to enjoy some of the best Italian food on the island.
La Cucina is definitely one of my favorites, which is why I'm happy to share it with the group. Since I live upstairs you could call me a regular.
Since moving to town, it's nice to have one of the best Italian restaurants on the island, right downstairs. I look forward to you joining me for dinner soon.
Here's the owner's statement:
Aloha and welcome to our small family-run Italian restaurant. You can find our current menu on our website, Food here is prepared solely by Chef/owner Don himself and therefore takes time (at times, 1.5 hours or longer). We kindly ask in advance for your patience and understanding prior to making your reservation, and also passing this message along to your guests as well. We ask that you please email us at lacucinaitaliano@yahoo.com, if you would like to pre-order our Osso Bucco, Braised Oxtail, or Lamb Shank. We would like a minimum of 48 hours notice so we may prepare the dish to perfection and have it ready the night of your reservation.
Here's the menu. For those who sign up, let me know if you would like to order something that takes special preparation (I'll try to remind you as well).
If you're wait-listed, no worries, La Cucina is a regular event for our group. And if you decide to make your own reservations (see the email below), I'm just upstairs; i'll stop by for a visit.
For those of you who enjoy eating out, consider becoming an event organizer with our group.
