OAR stands for: Rebuilding Lives and Communities. "We're honored to host Derwin Overton, Executive Director of OAR NOVA (Opportunities, Alternatives, and Resources), serving surrounding counties. He will discuss how OAR has been working for over 50 years to rebuild lives by providing support to individuals impacted by the justice system."
Annual Toy Drive
"We're also hosting our annual toy drive! We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys during this event. The toys will be given to OAR."

You may bring your own lunch or we can go to Bunnyman Brewery afterwards.

What to do in an emergency, including falling. Next of kin notification; Advanced directives; Do Not Resuscitate orders; After emergency care; How to dress oneself; How to wash; How to recover a routine; Practical issues about living after an emergency, either alone or with a partner; Shopping; Cooking; Driving; How to put your socks on; Where to get support; How to deal with medical personnel.
We will all walk away with practical advice in the event our daily routine is interrupted by an emergency.
This is not a medical or legal lecture, just a discussion among us and sharing of issues related to the things that can disrupt our lives.
