What we’re about
Whether you're single, married, divorced.....it doesn't matter, all are welcome!
I started this group in April 2021 to bring some life back as we come out of post covid times.....
We've reached over 1100 members in such a short period of time.....and what an amazing group!!
As we continue our journey into 2022 of new events & friendships......
We're about dining, dancing, happy hours, concerts, comedy clubs, theatre, movies, museums, art festivals....there's an endless number of things to do in the Twin Cities..... let's keep the fun going :-)
We're always open to suggestions so please drop your ideas in the Discussion box or send the leadership team a message, and we'll make your ideas a reality.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW COVID-19/CDC GUIDELINES

See all- Mojo Monks at the Bloomington VFW - Friday, September 19thEverett McClay VFW 311 West 84th St Bloomington, MN., Bloomington, MN
Join us for dancing to Mojo Monks’ selection of cover tunes: very danceable, and a band that puts out great energy - and they love having dancers on the dance floor. Gretchen Wilson's "Here for The Party", a song I'm almost sure they'll do, sets the tone for the night.

The Mojo Monks are very popular, and have a following, so
arriving by 6:30 PM is strongly advised.
Come early for introductions and conversation before the music starts.
Arriving by 6:30 will allow for better seating with others in this group.

Your co-hosts will be there by 6:15 PM.Generous drinks.
A good dance surface. The dance floor does get crowded.

Lawn chair, water, maybe sunscreen (your call, obviously), cash and credit card. I use ear plugs when near the band, but, again, obviously, that's your individual call to make.Weather
The day of this event you may be relying on me, your event host, Gary, to make the go/no-go decision in case of rainy weather.
I'm not likely to cancel unless a soaking all day rain seems very likely.I'm not familiar with this event's set-up, never having previously attended it. The performers and/or the audience might or might not be under a canopy or tent. I'll post comments on this page with further updates as I become aware of them.
Possible information sources: the parish office phone number:
651-645-9389 and church website: https://saintroseoflima.net/ .Of course, if there are any weather-related updates, or if I see a need to cancel, I'll post a comment here on this page.
How to find us
I look like my photo. I'll be wearing my baseball style cap: red-orange-yellow-green cap with a jungle leaves design. Also, I'll have a balloon on a green 5 ft. pole near me. I'll set up close to the front (but not too close) for quick access to dancing. It IS Saturday night, so If anyone has an idea for a post-event gathering at a local establishment, suggestions are welcome.
Our group is inclusive. Everyone is welcome.
